About this coloring page
Only a long neck and a smiling face poke out of the pond as this dinosaur takes a swim. Simple water shapes and grass on each side keep it at a comfortable medium level.
Only part of this dinosaur shows above the water. Explain what above and below mean, then guess where its legs and tail are hiding under the surface. The neck is one smooth, tall shape that is easy to color, and the grass on each side can be done with quick upward flicks of a green pencil.
Fun factLong-necked dinosaurs were some of the largest animals ever to walk on land.
- Color ideaUse wavy strokes of turquoise for the water so it looks like it is moving.
- After coloringDraw what might be hiding under the water near the dinosaur.
