About this coloring page
Arms up and mouth open, a baby dinosaur pops out of its spotted egg as if to say hello. The big round spots and simple face make this a comfortable medium page.
Pretend to hatch like this baby dinosaur: curl up small under a blanket, tap on the shell, then pop your arms out and say hello. Which thing does the baby notice first when it peeks out? The big round egg spots make easy circles to fill, and the jagged shell edge is good practice for zigzags.
Fun factBirds are the living relatives of dinosaurs.
- Color ideaGive the baby a minty green face and color the egg spots in warm yellow.
- After coloringThink of a name for the baby dinosaur and write it on the egg.
