About this coloring page
Munching a leaf, a baby stegosaurus stands in the grass with its plates lined up proudly. A good middle-level page, with plates and a tail to fill but no tiny fiddly bits.
This baby stegosaurus picked a leaf for a snack. What does your child like to munch when they are hungry, and which snacks give them energy to play? The plates lined up along its back are perfect for a color pattern, such as red, yellow, red, yellow, and the grass patch below needs only quick green strokes.
Fun factStegosaurus lived about 150 million years ago, long before Tyrannosaurus rex.
- Color ideaGive each plate a different pastel color, then make the leaf bright green.
- After coloringGo outside and find a leaf the same shape as the one the dinosaur is eating.
