About this coloring page
A baby dinosaur peeks out of its cracked egg, still wearing a bit of shell like a hat. Dozens of round spots cover the egg, giving detail lovers lots of little circles to fill.
What will this baby dinosaur do first now that it has hatched? Maybe it looks for its mother, takes a wobbly first step or tastes a leaf. Tell the story of its first day together. The piece of shell on its head is a funny detail to color, and the egg's spots work well as a dot pattern with markers.
Fun factEvery dinosaur started life by hatching out of an egg.
- Color ideaGive the egg a pale cream shell with bright purple and teal spots.
- After coloringCount the spots on the egg and write the number at the bottom of the page.
