About this coloring page
Eyes closed and smiling, a sleepy dinosaur curls around a big spotted egg for a nap. Rounded shapes and big spots make this a gentle, calming page before bedtime.
This dinosaur is keeping its egg warm and safe, just as many birds do today by staying close to their eggs. Hum a soft lullaby for the two of them, made up of just a few gentle words. The large round spots on the egg are easy to fill, and the dinosaur's curved back can be colored with slow, calm strokes.
Fun factFossils show a small dinosaur called Mei long sleeping curled up with its head tucked in, much like a bird.
- Color ideaChoose soft night colors like lavender and pale blue to keep the picture calm.
- After coloringWhisper a goodnight to the dinosaur and the egg.
