About this coloring page
A happy princess cuddles a small kitten close to her heart. Clear outlines and a medium number of spaces make it a sweet, relaxed page.
Kittens need gentle hands. Explain how to hold a small pet: support its body, keep your voice soft, and let it go if it wiggles. Has your child ever held a pet, and how did it feel? The kitten is small, so a colored pencil helps with its ears and face, while the princess's skirt is roomy enough for crayon.
Fun factKittens are born with their eyes closed.
- Color ideaColor the kitten gray with white paws and the gown a minty green.
- After coloringThink of a name for the kitten and say it in a gentle whisper.
