About this coloring page
A grinning jack-o'-lantern wears a tall witch hat with a shiny buckle. It is friendly, not spooky, and the big shapes make it an easy fall page.
Halloween falls on October 31, and many children dress up in costumes and visit neighbors for treats. This pumpkin has dressed up too, in a pointed witch hat with a square buckle. What costume would your child pick for the pumpkin next year? A crayon covers the round body quickly, and a colored pencil is handy for the buckle and the little nose.
Fun factLong ago in Ireland, people carved lanterns from turnips before pumpkins became the favorite.
- Color ideaColor the pumpkin orange, the hat purple and the buckle bright yellow.
