About this coloring page
A smiling striped egg stands tall while a fluffy baby chick leans against it. Wide bands make it easy to fill with spring colors at a medium level.
Spring is the season when many baby birds hatch, which is why chicks and eggs show up so often at Easter. A real chick breaks out of its shell using a tiny bump on its beak called an egg tooth, which falls off soon after hatching. Small hands can color the wide egg bands, and older kids can add fluffy feather strokes to the chick.
