This picture is colored in the Gullu app. It lives in the Letters land with 25 more, on a world map your child fills with color.
About this coloring page
A sleepy crescent moon and a few twinkling stars rest beside a big capital M. Simple shapes keep this an easy, calm page for bedtime or quiet time.
Turn this page upside down and the M becomes a W! Write one on scrap paper and flip it to check. The moon here is a crescent, the thin curved shape we see on some nights. The moon seems to change shape over about a month, from a thin sliver to a full circle and back again.
Fun factThe moon does not make its own light; it shines by reflecting sunlight.
- Color ideaColor the moon pale yellow, the stars gold and the M a night blue.
- After coloringLook for the moon tonight and draw the shape you see.
