About this coloring page
Curled like a half circle, the letter C makes room for a fluffy little cat. The open C shape is easy to fill, and the kitten adds a few fun details.
The open C is a big, easy shape for crayons, almost like a circle with a bite taken out of it. The kitten's fluffy fur, tiny paws and tail curl suit a sharp colored pencil. Older kids can add long whiskers and a ball of yarn, while little ones might just color the C and the kitten's face.
Fun factThe letter C can make a hard sound, as in cat, or a soft sound, as in city.
- Color ideaColor the cat orange with white paws and the C a sunny yellow.
- After coloringSay cat and city and listen for the two different C sounds.
