About this coloring page
A lion cub with a fluffy mane sits in the corner of a tall capital L. The mane has lots of curly edges to color, a good medium challenge.
The capital L is two straight lines meeting in a square corner, like the corner of a book or a table. Hunt for L-shaped corners around the room together. A lowercase l is just one tall line, which looks a lot like a capital I and the number 1, so writing all three side by side helps kids see the difference.
Fun factLions live in family groups called prides.
- Color ideaUse golden yellow for the lion and an orange-brown for the mane.
- After coloringRoar like a lion and say three L words.
