About this coloring page
This fluffy guinea pig hugs a big leaf of lettuce, ready for a snack. Large, simple shapes make it an easy page for little ones.
Guinea pigs talk with sounds: an excited squeal called a wheek, a soft purr when they are calm, and chattering teeth when they are grumpy. Practice each sound with your child as you color. The fluffy fur edges are fun to color with tiny flicks, and the big lettuce leaf can be shaded in two greens for a crisp look.
Fun factGuinea pigs are not pigs and do not come from Guinea; they come from South America.
- Color ideaUse patches of brown, orange and white on the fur and make the lettuce bright green.
- After coloringName some vegetables a guinea pig might like to eat.
