About this coloring page
A big helmet with a sweeping plume frames a smiling knight's face, with a sword on one side and a shield on the other. The shapes are mostly large, giving a medium page that is friendly for younger kids.
What is this knight's name, and how do they feel today? Look closely at the face peeking out of the helmet for clues. The big round helmet and the sweeping feather plume are wide, easy spaces, and the sword and shield on each side give older kids a little more to finish once the helmet is done.
Fun factMany knights' helmets had a face cover called a visor that could be lifted up or pulled down.
- Color ideaMake the helmet shiny silver, the plume purple, and the shield a bold red with a gold edge.
- After coloringMake a helmet from a paper bag and decorate it.
