About this coloring page
Candies of every kind surround a smiling number 8: wrapped sweets, lollipops, a candy cane, a gumdrop and a swirly mint. Stripes and wrappers make it a detailed, eye-catching page.
This page mixes tiny details with big open spaces. The fat loops of the 8 suit crayons or markers, while the thin candy-cane stripes and the swirl on the round mint are perfect for sharp colored pencils. An 8 can be drawn with one smooth line that crosses over itself, so try tracing it with a finger without lifting.
Fun factA spider has eight legs, and an octopus has eight arms.
- Color ideaUse bright pinks, blues and yellows for the candies and add red stripes to the candy cane.
- After coloringSort the candies into groups, like lollipops and wrapped candies, and count each group.
