About this coloring page
Cheek to cheek with a smiling seal pup, this mermaid shares a cuddle on a rock. Whiskers, flippers and long hair add many pieces for a detailed page.
How does a seal move around on a rock without legs? Most seals wiggle and scoot along on their bellies, then glide gracefully once they are back in the water. What name would you give this seal pup? Mother seals and their pups can know each other by their calls, even on a crowded, noisy beach.
Fun factSeals have a thick layer of fat called blubber that keeps them warm in cold water.
- Color ideaColor the seal soft gray with darker spots and give the mermaid a sea green tail.
- After coloringBark and clap like a seal, then give a stuffed animal a hug.
