About this coloring page
Tall stripes run down this smiling hot air balloon, with a little basket dangling underneath. The stripes are simple to fill, making a relaxing medium-level page.
A balloon pilot steers up and down with a burner. Firing the burner heats the air inside so the balloon rises, and letting the air cool brings it gently back down. Sideways, it simply drifts wherever the wind blows. The long stripes are easy to fill with crayons, one stripe at a time.
Fun factHot air balloons float because the hot air inside is lighter than the cooler air outside.
