Arctic and Polar Animal Coloring Pages
Gullu's Arctic land holds 20 snowy coloring pages of polar animals and winter fun, drawn for kids from toddlers to the early grades. Kids can color a polar bear cub on an ice floe, a narwhal with a spiral tusk, a waving walrus, a snowy owl, an arctic fox curled in the snow and an orca leaping from a wave. Winter scenes join in, like a smiling igloo, a snowman in a bucket hat, two huskies pulling a dog sled, a reindeer with a sleigh and a pair of fluffy snow boots. A few penguins slide in too, and the fun facts explain where they really live. Easy pages such as the sliding penguin, the seal pup and the snowflake have big, simple shapes, while the igloo and the dog sled offer more detail. The Polar Bear Cub is free to print here; the other 19 pages are colored in the Gullu app.

What kids practice
Arctic pages teach kids about life in the coldest places on Earth. They learn animal names like narwhal, walrus and arctic fox, and the facts explain how animals stay warm, from blubber to thick double coats. Coloring white animals on white snow encourages shading with light blues and grays. Comparing the North and South Poles builds early geography skills.
Ideas for home and the classroom
- Print the free Polar Bear Cub page, color it, then glue on cotton balls for fluffy snow around the ice.
- Sort the animals into those that live near the North Pole and those that live near the South Pole.
- Make paper snowflakes after coloring the snowflake page and hang them around the room.
Arctic and Polar Animal Coloring Pages: questions
What are good winter and arctic coloring pages for toddlers?
The sliding penguin, the seal pup, the arctic fox, the orca and the snowflake are the easiest, with just a few big shapes. The walrus, snowy owl and moon in earmuffs are simple too. Older kids who want more detail will enjoy the igloo blocks, the dog sled and the snow boots with their fluffy cuffs.
Do penguins really live in the Arctic?
No. Wild penguins live almost entirely in the southern half of the world, in places like Antarctica, South America, Africa and Australia. The Arctic is home to polar bears, walruses, arctic foxes and narwhals instead. The penguins are included here because kids love them in winter scenes, and it makes a great geography conversation.
Can I print these arctic coloring pages for my classroom?
The Polar Bear Cub page is free to print for personal, home and classroom use, so you can copy it for a winter unit, a polar animals lesson or a snowy day activity. The other arctic pages are colored in the Gullu app. Please do not resell the page or include it in products for sale. Regular letter or A4 paper works fine.
